Sunday racing will make its return to Kentucky Derby Week for the first time since 2010, adding an extra layer of excitement to an already electric week at Churchill Downs. The historic comeback will give the community an additional day to soak in the tradition, pageantry, and seasonal fun, with a full slate of brunch experiences popping up around the track. From festive morning cocktails to breakfast bites and trackside views, SundayFunday will set the tone for a week of celebration leading up to the Run for the Roses.

EVENT DAY HIGHLIGHTS

Sunday Brunch Dining Rooms (Locations: All Dining Rooms)

• Kick off Derby Week in style with a Sunday brunch blending classic southern charm and festive energy. Guests will enjoy VIP views and a fashion-forward crowd setting the tone for the week ahead. Boozy brunch favorites will flow freely, paired with indulgent brunch bites. A perfect, spirited start to the road to the Run for the Roses.

• Don’t just come to watch the action, be a part of it with JockeyCam! Step into the shoes of a jockey and experience the thrill of the track, and feel the energy of the crowd as you make your way to the finish line.

Louisville Tourism Mobile Visitor Center (Location: 1st Floor near Racing Office)

• Hop aboard “Big Lou”, Louisville Tourism’s mobile visitor center, rolling out red-carpet hospitality alongside our incredible community partners to share insider tips, local favorites, and can’t-miss experiences that make Derby City shine!

PARKING INFORMATION

Derby Week parking passes once purchased, can be accessed digitally through Ticketmaster or the Churchill Downs app. All parking passes will be validated prior to entry into the lot. When you approach your place of entry, please have your mobile or printed parking pass ready for our staff to scan. Parking is first-come, first-served within each reserved lot, including ADA spaces. No onsite sales if you don’t have a reservation.

• Lots open at 10:30 am on Sunday.
• Follow directions to your assigned lot. Refer to lot maps for details.
• Parking passes must be scanned at entry. Have your mobile pass ready. No re-entry allowed.

Kentucky Exposition Center (KEC)

• Parking at KEC is included with your ticket if you didn’t reserve onsite parking. Show your ticket upon entry.
• Free shuttle service runs to and from Churchill Downs, with drop-off and pickup at the Black Lot by the Paddock Gate.
• Enter through Gates 1 or 2.
• Shuttles start at 10:30 am Sunday. ADA-accessible shuttles are available, but no wheelchair assistance is provided at Churchill Downs.

Rideshare & Pickup

• No offsite taxi or rideshare service. All pickups and drop-offs happen onsite at Kentucky Derby Drive between Queen and Thornberry.
• Refer to the rideshare maps above for directions.
• No parking at L&N Federal Credit Union Stadium on this day.

ADA Parking

During Derby Week, onsite parking at Churchill Downs is available for pre-purchase as long as inventory is available. Parking within each reserved lot is first-come, first-served including ADA spaces.  If you do not have pre-purchased parking onsite, the Kentucky Exposition Center will have free parking with free accessible shuttles to the Black Lot outside of the Paddock Gate.
