Lemon Honey Glaze:

  • 2 Tablespoons Honey
  • 1 Tablespoon Fresh Lemon Juice (About ½ A Lemon)
  • 1 Teaspoon Lemon Zest (Zest The Lemon Before Juicing)
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil

Instructions

1.     Preheat The Oven: Set Your Oven To 400°F .

2.     Trim & Halve: Rinse The Brussels Sprouts, Trim Off Any Tough Ends, And Remove Outer Leaves As Needed. Cut Each Sprout In Half Lengthwise.

3.     Season & Roast: Place Brussels Sprouts On A Rimmed Baking Sheet. Drizzle With 2 Tablespoons Of Olive Oil, Then Sprinkle With ½ Teaspoon Salt And ¼ Teaspoon Black Pepper. Toss To Coat Evenly, Then Spread Them Out In A Single Layer

4.     Roast: Bake For 20–25 Minutes, Tossing Halfway Through, Until The Sprouts Are Nicely Browned And Fork-Tender.

5.     Scatter Pecans On A Small Baking Sheet And Place In The Oven During The Last 5–7 Minutes Of The Brussels Sprouts’ Roasting Time. Keep An Eye On Them—They Can Burn Quickly.

6.     Remove The Pecans From Heat And Set Aside To Cool.

7.     Whisk Together: In A Small Bowl, Whisk The Honey, Lemon Juice, Lemon Zest, And 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil. If Using Garlic, Add It Here.

8.     Add Salt And Pepper To Taste.

9.     Once The Brussels Sprouts Are Out Of The Oven, Transfer Them To A Serving Bowl. Drizzle The Lemon Honey Glaze Over The Hot Sprouts.

10.  Sprinkle The Toasted Pecans On Top.

11.  Finish With Parmesan: Use A Vegetable Peeler Or Cheese Plane To Shave Thin Strips Of Parmesan Over The Sprouts.

12.  Gently Toss To Distribute The Glaze, Pecans, And Parmesan Shavings. Taste And Adjust Seasonings If Needed (Add More Salt, Pepper, Or A Squeeze Of Lemon For Extra Brightness).

13.  Serve Immediately For The Best Texture And Flavor.
