Despite weather delays, the Road to the Derby races continue with the John Battaglia Memorial at Turfway and the Rebel Stakes at Oaklawn Park.

A strong 14-horse field has entered Saturday’s $1.25 million Rebel (G2) at Oaklawn Park. Eight of the entrants have already earned points on the Road to the Kentucky Derby.

A full field of 14 three-year-olds will travel 1 1/16 miles at Oaklawn Park in Saturday’s $1.25 million Rebel S. (G2).

The $1.25 million Rebel (G2) is annually one of the most lucrative of Kentucky Derby (G1) preps. The 2025 edition Saturday at Oaklawn Park has the added bonus of being one of the deepest in terms of numbers and talent seen this cycle.
