Guess the 2019 Kentucky Derby contenders from their baby pictures

May 02, 2019 Kellie Reilly/Brisnet.com

Our annual “Tales from the Crib” series explores the backgrounds and early lives of the Kentucky Derby (G1) contenders, aiming to help fans connect with the horses as individuals.

As their journey nears the starting gate, it’s time to compile their stories into one post, the anthology for Derby 145. Or you could call it a class photo of a sort. Most have pictures from foal or yearling days, with the occasional head shot for those who don’t.

The contenders aren’t named, but between their photos and the hints, you can play the guessing game. And the answer is right there if you hover over the link.
