Churchill Downs Incorporated Foundation Announces 50/50 Charitable Gaming Raffles During Kentucky Derby Week

DERBY DAY RAFFLE GUARANTEES MINIMUM $50,000 POOL, HALF TO RAFFLE WINNER, HALF TO THOROUGHBRED AFTERCARE AND OTHER CHARITABLE INITIATIVES
LOUISVILLE, KY., (Thursday, April 19, 2018) –Churchill Downs Incorporated Foundation today announced the opening of three separate 50/50 Charitable Gaming Raffle drawings to be held during Kentucky Derby week, one drawing on each Thurby, Oaks and Derby days. For each raffle, participants will have the chance to win half of that day’s raffle sales, with the other half of the day’s raffle proceeds going toward the Churchill Downs Incorporated Foundation to support its charitable initiatives, including Thoroughbred aftercare, arts and educational opportunities for backside employees and breast and ovarian cancer research and prevention. Churchill Downs Incorporated Foundation will guarantee a minimum $50,000 pool for the Derby day raffle.
Tickets for each raffle may be purchased anytime from now until Thurby, Oaks and Derby days respectively at www.DerbyGives.com. Guests can also purchase raffle tickets for all three raffles while attending any Derby week racing event starting on Opening Night presented by Budweiser. Raffle tickets are $5 and only open to individuals who are 18 years of age or older and who are legal residents of the United States as of the date or purchase. To celebrate the launch of DerbyGives.com, Churchill Downs Incorporated Foundation will sponsor free admission to the opening day of Kroger’s Fest-a-Ville on Thursday, April 26 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
