Churchill Downs Incorporated Foundation Announces Opening Of Three 50/50 Charitable Raffles During Kentucky Derby Week

DERBY FANS ACROSS THE NATION INVITED TO PARTICIPATE IN RAFFLES TO SUPPORT THROUGHBRED AFTERCARE AND OTHER CHARITABLE INITIATIVES

LOUISVILLE, KY., (Monday, April 17, 2017) – Churchill Downs Incorporated Foundation today announced the opening of three separate 50/50 Charitable Raffle drawings that will be held during Kentucky Derby week, one drawing on each Thurby, Oaks and Derby days. For each raffle, participants will have the chance to win half of that day’s raffle sales, with the other half of the day’s raffle proceeds going toward the Churchill Downs Incorporated Foundation in support of its charitable initiatives, including Thoroughbred aftercare, arts and educational opportunities for backside employees and breast and ovarian cancer research and prevention.

New this year raffle tickets will be sold online at www.DerbyGives.com. Derby fans across the nation will be able to purchase raffletickets from their desktop computers or mobile devices.

Tickets for each raffle may be purchased from now until Thurby, Oaks and Derby days respectively. Raffle tickets are $5 and onlyopen to individuals who are 18 years of age or older and who are legal residents of the United States as of the date or purchase.
