Davona Dale S. (G2) runner-up Crazy Beautiful has been established as a slight 5-2 morning line favorite in Saturday’s $200,000 Gulfstream Parks Oaks (G2). She will meet six rivals in the 1 1/16-mile race.

A major qualifier for the Kentucky Oaks on April 30, the Gulfstream Park Oaks will award points on a 100-40-20-10 scale to the top four finishers.

Crazy Beautiful recorded a second in the Alcibiades S. (G1) before finishing sixth in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1). A gray daughter of Liam’s Map, the Kenny McPeek-trained filly exits a rallying second in the Feb. 27 Davona Dale at a one-turn mile.

She figures to appreciate the stretch back out to two turns, and Jose Ortiz rides.

Con Lima will switch back to the main track for Todd Pletcher. A two-time stakes winner on Gulfstream’s turf this winter, the early 3-1 second choice captured the Feb. 27 Herecomesthebride S. (G3) via disqualification. Con Lima broke her maiden on dirt last summer, and she’s eligible to show speed from her innermost post with Irad Ortiz Jr.

Demoiselle S. (G2) runner-up Millefeuille, who didn’t fire from off the pace in the Davona Dale, is a candidate to rebound in her second start off the layoff. Bill Mott trains the Curlin filly, and Tyler Gaffalione picks up the assignment.

Competitive Speed and Pens Street, second and third respectively in the Davona Dale, can’t be dismissed from consideration in the competitive affair. A pair of Dale Romans runners, Bow Bow Girl and Len Lo Lady, round out the cast.
